A Blast from The Past

Way back when, when I first embarked on this pattern making adventure I designed a little pinafore named "Abigail" ...imagine that.... anyway, it was my very first attempt at pattern drafting and needless to say it wasn't what it should be. I have learned so much in the past few years and so I have decided to dig it out of my archives and re do the pattern. Mainly because it's so darn sweet and Abby was asking me why I don't have a pattern with her name on it. Then I told her that I actually do, and she asked why it wasn't in my pattern shop...she had a point so this morning I have been busy re working the pattern pieces and re drafting them. Now to make a few new ones in a bigger size because she has long out grown the original pinafores that I made. I am so excited. I really loved this little design and it needs to be back in the shop.

Oh, and yes, I know I have been pretty quiet for the past few days. I have been really busy working on new designs for you. My desk is currently covered with new pattern pieces all drafted and ready to go. My computer monitor has numerous windows up with several tutorials all in the process of...There will be more new patterns very soon so keep an eye open for news about that. Not to mention the paper patterns are due any day now. I am just waiting for the call from the printers letting me know that they are ready and I can go pick them up. So much going on, and it's all good!

btw...can you believe how much my little girl has grown up since these photos were taken!?

This was the first pattern I ever bought from you - you just reminded me that I have it and I haven't even made it up yet.
It's so very sweet - thanks for the reminder.
