5!

That's right...today our little Henry turned 5 years old, or as he put it perfectly..."Mommy, I'm a whole hand!" The other day Ole and I were talking about his upcoming Birthday and we both agreed that it seems like he has been with us for a lot longer than 5 short years. Although, we both agreed that he is getting a lot better. The incidents of Henry disasters has lessened in the past few months and we can see a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. All kidding aside he is our little treasure and we couldn't love him any more. His special day was filled with lots of playtime and then a small family celebration tonight at home complete with turkey cupcakes ( a Henry Birthday tradition) and a few special gifts. I ordered his presents from Nova Natural Toys and surprised him with a new tin of beeswax crayons, a ping pong ball catapult, a rubber band race car , and an  awesome wooden pulley which we have big plans for, for transporting goodies from the playroom to downstairs. Finally one really good use for 20" ceilings....Ole will hopefully get a chance to install this within the next day or so, so they can start enjoying it. Right before bed time Henry announced "that this was the best day ever!!!" We seem to have a lot of those around here...

Happy Birthday Baby!!!

I'm glad to hear the incidents of Henry disasters have decreased. When I saw the word "catapult" and Henry's name in the same paragraph, I was bracing myself for yet another adventure.

Let's hope he never looses his natural inquisitiveness. Even when he is 55 or double digits 5!
