The holiday festivities are in full swing at our house. Christmas wish lists have been sent to Santa, the house is be-decked in holiday finery and the kids are anxiously awaiting the big guy in the red suit to make his appearance in a little over a week. Today we will begin our cookie bake-off and start preparing the numerous varieties that we all love and maybe we'll even try a few new ones to see if they can be added to our line up. Christmas is all about children at our house and I go a little nutty making it extra special for my kids because when all is said and done, they don't really remember all the goodies that Santa brought, but rather the memories we created together. We've been reading Christmas stories, watching classic movies together and singing Christmas songs.
Honestly...I am just as excited as they are and can't wait to see what Santa has in store for them this year!
