Recently some of my favorite bloggy friends have been featuring their creative spaces. I cannot tell you how much fun it is to peek into the studios, nooks, attic spaces, and hide-a-ways of some of the most creative people I have come to know through their blogs. I love all the clever ways they have decorated, re-purposed and thrifted their way to unique and fun places for them to be inspired to create beautiful things.
I too have a very special place in our home where I go to "play". I converted our otherwise untouched formal dining room into a sewing studio and now it is a flurry of activity. Pale lavender walls and lots of shabby chic bits and pieces I have collected have made this studio a very cozy place for me to let my imagination run wild. I am surrounded by walls of fabric, jars of buttons, baskets filled with vintage laces and trims and so very much more. I have collections of old magazines which inspire me, spools of ribbon, patterns both bought and those of which I have drafted myself.
Here are just a few pictures of my creative space...

What a beautiful, inspiring space!
Beautiful!
Thanks so much!!! It really is my little paradise amidst the chaos of my otherwise nutty life.
