See that creepy little guy on the bottom left with the long stringy things hanging off of him...he's the one!!! He made me sick! Well, I finally broke down and went to the Dr.s last week because I was feeling so miserable. I was spiking high fevers, couldn't control my body temperature and was having terrible chills and excruciating stomach pains plus a host of other odd symptoms. They did all kinds of tests, x-rays, etc. to discover that I have not one but three individual nasty infections going on..... so they sent me home with pretty intense antibiotics and I was put to bed for several days while trying to fight off these evil nasty little guys that got me. Then the Dr.s office called to let me know that test results came back showing that I tested positive for a E coli!!! What the heck??? Where on Earth did I come in contact with that??? We know I must have gotten it somewhere outside our home because no one else in our family got sick. Thank goodness!!! So, I must have eaten something when I was out and about over the past several weeks that was infected and that's what was making me so sick. Thanks to the meds, my awesome family and lots of rest I am beginning to feel a little better, but the Dr.s said "That it could take a few weeks before I am back to feeling like myself." So for now I am slowly starting to function again. yesterday I even managed to do a few little things around the house, trust me it wasn't much, and then I was exhausted. This thing has really knocked the wind right out of my sails and it's going to take a while to recover from this one.
Thanks to Thinkgeek.com for there adorable image of their plush microbes.
