Can you say "Cute overload!"?  I actually had this idea about a year and a half ago, but I decided to put it on the back burner for a while and concentrate on my patterns ... but, then the other day I thought about it again and I thought to myself "This is the right time!" So, for the past few days I have been working non-stop to put together the sweetest set of paper dolls for you. The set will include 10 different Olabelhe outfits to dress up your very own Abigail doll. But there is a twist...these paper dolls are a lot more fun because you get to be the designer. That's right ...you get to color them in and have a blast creating outfit after outfit!!! Abby and I have had so much fun over the past few days making and playing with these I can't even tell you. However, these are not just for the little ladies, they are a great tool for us mama's too. You can use these as a design tool for playing around with different ideas for fabric combos and such before you even cut into your fabric. Plus, confess, you love to color too!

Here's a little peek at what the set looks like....

The set includes:
"Amelia's Dress"
"Annie's Pantaloons"
"Bridget's Blouse"
"Cecily's Pinafore"
"Darcy's Skirt"
"Emily's Camisole"
"Emma's Bloomers"
"Hannah's Nightgown"
"Janey's Dress"
"Jillian's Jumper"
"Miranda's Dress"
"Rebecca's Sundress"
and "Sabrina's Dress"

Now, this get's more interesting...if you decide to download the set you get everything I described above but, what I didn't tell you is that I will be adding new outfits for "Abigail" to my shop fairly often and those will be absolutely FREE!!!...that way you can expand her wardrobe and keep her up to date in all the latest Olabelhe designs! How cool is that!? This is the perfect activity for those long, hot summer days that are right around the corner. You can even take it to the next level like Abby and I did by creating a room for your doll. OMG...Can I tell you how much fun we had doing this yesterday. All of the furniture is made from paper and cardboard and bits of this and that we had in our craft supplies. For instance the bed was a cracker box, the armoire was a piece of cardboard the dresser was created from the bottom of a box and then I made all the drawers and yes they all really open and close and you can fill them with stuff. We went all out and made this room look as much like my Abby's as possible and it's pretty darn close. I even made little wire hangers to hang in the armoire to put all the clothes on....yes, I know,  I need to get out more often. But this was Sooooo Much Stinkin' Fun. Now, Abby is telling me we need to make more rooms for her paper dolls...Oi! Looks like we are going to have a paper doll kinda summer and I couldn't be more thrilled talk about good old fashioned fun! Using your imagination and a few things around the house and you have a whole magical world for your little girls and their mama's, and grandma's to play in!

Dawn

Oh, and yes, I drew them all myself by hand...no fancy computer program ... just good old fashioned pen and paper.
