Off On A Big Adventure...
Well, Not really....but we certainly had fun pretending!!!
Here are a few more photos I've been saving for a while and another new pattern I have been working on for you. This one is called "Meg". Abby and I borrowed a few vintage suitcases from a friend and then went over to the old Williamsburg train station to take some photos. As you can see we had an absolute blast and Abby loved pretending that she was heading off on a big adventure to some fantastic destination... of course now she is just itching to go on a real train to someplace exciting...someday Abby, someday! "Meg" is made up in two prints from one of my absolute favorite fabric designers Joanna Figueroa from Fig Tree Quilts. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her prints and her color palette. Absolute perfection for what I love to design soft, sweet, all with a vintage feel and perfect for little girls clothing...Thank You Joanna!!! Keep an eye in my shop for more news about "Meg"!
Oh, btw... this is one of the dresses that is going to be featured in Sew Beautiful Magazine. I just saw a preview of what the article is going to look like and it's fantastic. Everyone at SB did a fantastic job and I cannot wait for it to hit the news stands in a few more weeks!!! Can you believe it .... 5 pages of Olabelhe on the pages of Sew Beautiful! It really is a dream come true for me and I never imagined it could really happen.

Sometimes dreams do come true!
I keep wondering how much longer it will be before the next SB will be published.
Congrats on the SB spread! I'm sure it'll be lovely.
I absolutely love the dress you made with Fresh Cottons. And your daughter couldn't be more adorable!
thanks for letting me know,

What a lovely girl you have! And congratulations! You surely deserve it!
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments. Abby and I are both very excited about seeing her and my designs on the pages of such a beautiful publication. I just never imagined this would happen.
