Going To Print

This has been on my mind for a long time. Whether or not I should take my little business to the next level... or not. Sales have been wonderful and now I have the time again to get back into the swing of things with the kids back to school. I've been giving this a ton of thought and I've decided, I'm going to go for it! I cannot tell you how excited...and nervous... I am but, I think it's the thing to do. Now, to begin the process of re-vamping all my patterns into a new format. I have been busy playing with ideas and coming up with "The Look" I want for all my new illustrations. I have also started to research printing options, paper, packaging, ink, etc. You have no idea how much goes into all this!

Of course, I have a great cheering squad! My friends and family are all saying it's the right thing to do but none the less it's still a lot of work!!!! My goal is to have them all re-done by the end of the year so that I can possibly go to market and show them off in the Spring! If I have time...I would also love to introduce a few new pieces too but only time will tell!

I have a feeling I will be spending a lot more time at my desk and computer than at my sewing machines for a while. I'm off to pick up a few necessary supplies today...paper and lots of Micron pens! Doing all the illustrations by hand is going to require a lot of patience and time!!! So keep me in your thoughts and keep your fingers crossed!
