Introducing "Janey"!

I've been busy all morning working on my next pattern to go out. This is "Janey"! I designed this dress earlier this spring when I inspired by a famous painting. I loved the classic simplicity and sweetness of it. Like many of my designs this too has an empire waist and little buttons down the back of the bodice. However this one has capped sleeves, which I've not done with any of my other designs yet. Now that summer is starting to wind down I wanted to add a few things that will ease into the cooler weather. Once again this is a baby-doll length so it will need to be worn with either bloomers or pantaloons underneath. Which by the way are coming too. The pattern pieces have been drafted and I just need to tweek a few things then get those ready to go out for testing too. So keep a close watch in the shop for her arrival within the next few weeks.

Just a quick note. If you click on my images they will enlarge for a better view!

Very sweet - I like Janey! I just made another skirt, posted it on my blog and referenced back to your blog. I hope that is ok!
