Because I have been super busy drafting and re-drafting patterns I decided to treat myself to some new tools to help me in the process. A flexible ruler, French curves, a basic compass, and good ole fashioned graph paper. Up until now I had been painstakingly doing it all by hand. Then I thought to myself "there has to be an easier way" so off I went to JA to look at their tools and then to Michaels to see what they had that I might be able to use. I can't wait to give these new toys a try to see if they help in the process. Okay...back to drafting.

I'm curious to hear what you think of all of these tools once you've had a chance to play with them a bit.
Well done on your new purchases! I often wonder how you manage to draft patterns for the creations that you dream up. Hopefully these tool will help immensely.
