Ribbon Storage

Ever wonder what to do with all your ribbon? It's been driving me nuts for quite a while. I had been keeping it all separated by color in large food storage bags and then kept all the bags tucked away in a drawer, but I really love how gorgeous ribbon is and I wanted to showcase it in my studio. So, I came up with this idea to make a ribbon spool holder out of, what else, ribbon and a few dowel rods. It was super easy to make and now I can show-off all my pretty ribbon and I can easily get to it and see what I have. But, my next problem was what to do with all the tons of ribbon I had that wasn't on spools. I found a really cute idea on-line and instantly started wrapping all my ribbon onto clothespins! I love how it looks and it's so easy and practical. I still have lots more ribbon to wrap, but I will slowly finish that when I have a few minutes here and there to sit and relax and wind ribbon.
