Little girls

This was just one of those fabrics that I couldn't resist, and believe it or not it's actually home-dec fabric. I was a little worried that it wouldn't work for clothing but once I got it home and washed it it was perfect. It has scenes of little girls playing with their dolls and playing dress-up which is just perfect for Miss Abigail! I used my favorite dress pattern and added a peasant top and then Abby requested a hat to go with her new outfit. I love how it turned out!

I must ask, did you use a pattern for that bonnet? It is absolutely darling!!!! :)

Okay, my cute-o-meter just shot off the scale! I love all the outfits you've made. I used to sew pretty things like that for my daughter when she was little. It's so nice to see 'girly' outfits on a little girl, isn't it? So much nicer than the icky 'four going on 24" outfits you see in stores!

I would love to know where you got the fabric, or even just the name and/or company that makes it! Would you please, could you please share?? I love seeing your designs - they are always great inspiration and your daughter looks adorable - she reminds me of Holly Hobby in this! Wow, I haven't thought of her since I was a girl! Thank you again, I hope you will share.
