A Dolly Tea Party

Today was quite a special day! My friend Lynn and I are huge Downton Abby fans so when I decided to make some DA inspired outfits for my girls one thing lead to another and we decided to have a full on tea party for them all decked out in their finery. Each of the girls is wearing a totally unique outfit with hats or hair accessories and most of them have beautiful handmade jewels, created by Lynn and some of them even have little purses that my mom made for them. Then Lynn who is a pastry chef, created a beautiful tea for the girls complete with tiny scones, tea sandwiches, itty bitty petit' fours, tiny cookies and chocolates...OMG, can it get any cuter??? Then we decided to have the party have an easter theme because Easter is right around the corner and each of the girls received a little gift basket with tiny jelly beans, a little white fluffy bunny, and chocolates...I told you we went all out!!!
All of these outfit will be listed in my Etsy shop over the next week or so along with lots of other more traditional Easter/Spring dresses for your dolls.

I'm having way too much fun with my girls . . .

Hugs,
Dawn

Your little girls are just too, too, cute! I love them! I'd like to try to make one but I know I could never part with it...and I'm a bit too old (at 68) to play with dolls. I think my hubby would have me locked away.

Great party dear, I also want to have such an organized party but planning a party myself is not my cup of tea so I would prefer hiring the planner, who can also help me hiring party venue rentals. Anyway, thanks for the post!
