Okay, as if I don't have enough fabric already. Today my dear sweet husband went to our storage room to dig out all my quilting fabric that I packed away years ago when I stopped quilting and started sewing children's clothing. Well, now that I am in full swing of making doll clothing, these smaller pieces will be perfect. To be honest I had completely forgotten how much there was but when he came home with our minivan loaded down with 9 gigantic moving boxes filled to the rim with fabric it all started coming back pretty quickly as to how much I actually have. To give you an idea here is a picture of just some of the mountain. In total there are 22 garbage bags that are filled to capacity and I have no idea where I am going to put it all. My sewing room is already full and I have no more room for additional shelves and somehow I don't think my husband will go for the idea of adding an addition to the house to house all my fabric.
Needless to say, if you ever hear me talking about fabric shopping again please, please STOP me! Even if I sewed round the clock for the rest of my life I don't think I could ever use all this up. But it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun to go through all these bags and remember where and when I got most of it and remembering other things that I had made with it. Talk about Christmas in September!!!! I am like a kid in a candy shop....
Oh, I hope to launch "Olivia & Bella" later this week. Everything is in place and I am ready to roll.

I too have transitioned from quilting (and other sewing) to doll clothing, so this suggestion is for me too... when I get a chance. That would be to go through the fabric and cull out the patterns that are too large a scale for dolls. I have discovered that scale is terribly important in making realistic looking doll clothes.
