Sewing Sewing Sewing!!!!

I have been an absolute sewing maniac the past few days and I can't wait to show you all the cute stuff I have been stitching up. I've made several "Sabrina's" which I am loving. This pattern is so sweet and perfect for Spring/Summer which is right around the corner. The pattern is almost done so keep an eye out for it. Then I came up with a new design which I really love. Modeled after a classic "Ballerina style" this simple but elegant dress is perfect for a very special occasion. I'm naming this one "Meaghan". I had so much fun making this one and when Abby saw it for the first time this morning it was love at first sight. Imagine that!!! She is such a little princess and when she saw this one she was just speechless...when not exactly. Her first comment was "Can I have one in pink too?" The bodice is made with the most gorgeous white cotton sateen that Terri from Fairytale Frocks & Lollipops sent me. This fabric is so luxurious you have to see it and feel it to believe it. I want it in every color!!! The skirt is made from miles and miles of white sparkle organza and it's all trimmed out with delicate little white and pink ribbon roses. I made the shoulder ties from organza ribbon also so it would have a light feeling. Almost as if was floating around her. I think the results were a success. Sorry the pictures are just awful. But I snapped these early this morning and the weather is miserable so my lighting was not optimal. I can't wait for a beautiful Spring day to take Abby out and get some great shots in this one.

Dawn, this is so gorgeous! Abby looks so happy twirling. I love all the rosebuds.
It reminds me of the bridal gown I am supposed to be altering right now, instead of playing on the internet! HAHA!!!
Have a gorgeous day.

Beautiful just beautiful!!! I have to make one for my granddaughters. I have a question too--somehow I thought that you had made your last dress pattern starting at size 2 but today I see it starts at 3--did I just imagine that you said you were going to start at size 2--just wondering
