Another Year...

Happy Birthday to me...

I was up bright and early this morning to start my day. With a list of things to do and places to go. First up, the Colonial Piecemakers Quilt Guild meeting. I have been thinking about joining a guild and during my last trip to my local quilt shop they had several of the local guilds there trying to spread the word about their group. So, their April meeting was today so I decided to check it out. What a wonderful group of ladies, and one gentleman. I was instantly welcomed and the group was lively and fun. I think...no, I know I could learn a lot about quilting from these seasoned quilters. After that I decided to go check out this little hole in the wall antique shop that I pass all the time, but have never had the time to pop in to check it out. So, today was the day. Wow!!! What a treasure trove. I was in absolute awe of all the goodies I saw and was tempted to bring home several things. However, the one thing that really caught my eye was a antique Singer tredel sewing table. It was in beautiful condition and so sweet. It would make the perfect place to set up a machine for Abby. But, honestly there is just no room in my studio for another piece of furniture. After I left there it was off to do my grocery shopping for the week, home to drop everything off and then back out for a trip to the library to get more books for school.

Once I was back at home the kids decided on pizza for my B'day dinner, some family time and now I am having a little down time and trying to unwind from my day.
