Yet Another Outfit Today!

I am on a roll today! After I made the plaid outfit this morning I felt like doing a little more sewing. I traced out the "Gnome Girl" dress from the latest Otto and made it up with some cute Flower power cord that I picked up a while ago. FYI...this dress is super cute and is really quick and easy to put together. I will be making more of these for Abby this season. But Miss Abby insisted that I make some kind of little coat to go with her new dress because "It's cold outside Mommy"...plus she is now all about having the complete outfit. A simple dress is no longer enough, now she wants a matching coat, wrap, shawl, cape, hat, muff, etc. OMG...I have created a monster! So I remembered a really cute coat pattern that I saw a while back so I tried to copy it. It turned out okay, but I think I still need to tweek it a bit. But, it's not horrible for a first try. anyway...blah, blah, blah... Now I need to fix dinner and then crash! I am exhausted!!!

Once again, lovely. I would be grateful if you could pass on the pattern number. My daughter is 4, too, and will only wear dresses and skirts so I need something that is not too complicated!

Karen, it did turn out kinda cute, didn't it? But I think I want to play with the little jacket a bit more. Yes, Abby is growing up so quickly. I can't believe she is almost 5!

Fiona...thank you so much for your lovely comments. It's so nice to hear that you like what I am creating. As for the pattern it's from the latest issue of Ottobre. The dress is called the "Gnome Girl" dress and I have to say it goes together very easily, and I would highly recommend it. Every little girl needs a few classic A-line jumpers in her fall wardrobe and this one is extra sweet.
