Back To Dressmaking...Thank Goodness!!

I think I am finally getting my sewing MoJo back. I have been in a bit of a dry spell lately and of course with Abigail not wanting me to make her any more clothes I have been taking a bit of a break and concentrating on other things. This morning she came into my sewing room and asked me "Why I don't make her anymore dresses?" I reminded her that she told me that she didn't want me to make her anymore, and she quickly came back with..."Well, I changed my mind!" I was over the moon and instantly grabbed my latest issue of Ottobre and traced out the pattern for the Lingonberry dress and shawl. Then started picking fabrics. Of course Abby insisted that it have Pink in it. The dress went together super fast and within a few hours she had a new outfit. I had crocheted the hat a week or so ago and it went with it perfectly. Plus, today is a perfect chilly autumn day and a great opportunity to play with my new camera outside. We were both really happy with the way the dress turned out.

Love this outfit, saw it in your signature line at sewingmama so had to come see if you blogged about it.

What fabric did you use for the brown part? I have the same floral print and my one daughter keeps asking for something made from it.
