I am a huge Jane Austen fan and can watch the movies based upon her books for hours. Along with loving the stories, I also drool over the fashions. This outfit was inspired by the classic Regency dress. Empire waisted with a scooped neckline. I paired it up with ruffled pantaloons and to give the dress a little twist I added a button-on-apron with an applique of the outline of a little bird.
