After so many days of rain, I finally decided to take inspiration from it and use some of this adorable rubber duck fabric. I shortened my cross-front pinafore design and used strip-work to add lots of color. I also found the perfect duck embroidery so I added it to one of the panels for an extra special touch. Under the pinafore is a simple peasant top and I also made adorable little ruffle Capri pants to complete the outfit. Sadly, the pictures don't do this outfit justice. There are even little clear sequins on the pants and when the light hits them they look like little drops of water...how perfect is that for this "rainy day outfit".
