I have been in a major Jane Austen mood lately. Watching all her classics on DVD and just swooning over not only the wonderful and romantic stories but also the clothing. I would have loved living in that time period when ladies dressed like ladies and everything was so feminine and pretty. However, I am not so sure about the whole corset thing, but it would definitely be fun to try for a while. So, once again I am inspired to make something for Abby with a regency period feel. I even attempted my first bonnet. This was so much fun, I just have no idea where she might wear it, but who cares I had so much fun creating I wouldn't mind if she never wore it again.
