This morning I went digging deep into "the Closet" and found this cutie! Oh, my gosh . . . look how little Abby was. My little girl is so grown up now. When I looked at the date on the photos they were taken exactly 6 years ago when she was 3 1/2 years old. I made this outfit for her when I found some adorable cupcake flannel and I just knew she would love it.
"Cute as a Cupcake"
This is a three piece set... first up, the apron style top which is made from warm and cozy pale blue gingham flannel and lined with pale pink flannel. This top ties in the back with ties which make into pretty bows. The front is appliqued with an adorable "C is for Cupcake" and a coordinating cupcake. The cupcake has a button cherry and little beads hand sewn on to it to look like sprinkles... stinkin' cute! The skirt is also made from warm and snuggly pink gingham flannel and done in a bubble style with an additional layer which is ruched on the sides and accented with pink gingham ribbon bows. Finally, I am including the matching purse that I made to go with it. This sweet little bag is made to look like a cupcake and match the set.
