Paper Gnomes

Here is this morning's project. A few little "Jingle Gnomes" I designed and created from paper. Gnomes are a very important part of our Waldorf schooling and they also have a special place in all of our hearts. So, I decided to see what I could come up with using a few simple shapes. Once I had the basic shapes figured out I made a template and then made these little guys out of colored card stock, glue, ribbon, scissors, a fine black marker, and there is even a little surprise inside. I had a bunch of little jingle bells so I attached them to the inside so these they are actually little bells as well. Wouldn't these make great ornaments or package toppers? If you are interested, maybe I could put together a quick little freebie tutorial and even make up the templates for you so that you can download them and make up a bunch of these with your favorite little people this holiday season? Leave me a comment and let me know if you are interested.
